Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum join Brooks & Dunn’s farewell

Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum are among the recently confirmed artists scheduled to perform at the television taping of “ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn [ tickets ] – The Last Rodeo.” The all-star concert special, which will be taped April 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, also will feature performances by Jennifer Hudson, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Taylor Swift and Sugarland, according to a press release.

They join previously announced performers including Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

During the tribute concert, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn will receive the Academy of Country Music’s Milestone Award in recognition of their 20-year record-breaking career.

The all-star concert, which will air on CBS May 23, will tape the day after the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The awards show will air live on CBS.

Kings Of Leon Take ‘Revenge’ On iPhone Gamers

Kings of Leon fans will soon have a new way to experience the group’s songs. Tapulous, the game maker responsible for the wildly successful Tap Tap Revenge iPhone game app, has enlisted the band as the newest addition to its roster. “Kings of Leon Revenge,” a new version of the popular game series, will feature playable versions of ten of the band’s biggest hits, including “Use Somebody,” “Notion” and “Sex on Fire.”

The game, based on the Tap Tap Revenge model, including a Bluetooth enabled Battles Mode which will allow fans to go head to head on the band’s tracks. The premium version of the game also features a private Kings of Leon chatroom accessible only through the app.

The Kings of Leon Revenge app sells for $4.99, and is available from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch.

Kings of Leon are set to headline the Bonnaroo Music Festival in June, its only scheduled U.S. gig in 2010. The band is expected to start recording a new album sometime this year.

Kings of Leon Revenge includes the following ten songs:

Missed Pearl Jam live during the band’s run of Backspacer tour dates last year? Eddie Vedder and company are giving you another chance to see their legendary live show in action with a month-long slate of U.S. shows that kick off in May. The trek launches at New Orleans’ Jazz Festival on May 1st and moves its way northeast, culminating with two shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden on May 20th and 21st.

Band of Horses have been enlisted to serve as Pearl Jam’s opening act on the trek, with the Black Keys subbing in for the May 20th MSG show.
