US superstar Kelly Clarkson has announced a five date arena UK tour for October and will be joined by one of the biggest pop bands of 2012 Cover Drive.

Kelly Clarkson is also set to release ‘Dark Side’ on JUNE 3RD which is the third single to be taken from her top 5 album ‘Stronger’ out now.

Kelly has already achieved huge success with the release of her fifth studio album. She performed an incredible secret gig at Borderline in London, turned on the infamous Regent Street Christmas Lights, and single ‘What Doesn’t Kill You’ is still riding high in the airplay charts.

Since bursting onto the music scene 10 years ago, Kelly Clarkson has released five studio albums (Thankful, Breakaway, My December, All I Ever Wanted), sold over 20 million albums worldwide, had seven top ten singles in the UK and has sold over 3.5 million units in the UK alone.

She is the recipient of 2 Grammy Awards, 2 American Music Awards, 2 MTV Awards and 11 Billboard Awards. Clarkson’s last effort, 2009′s All I Ever Wanted debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and produced the smash singles ‘ ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ (which charted at number one and went platinum in the UK) and ‘Already Gone.’

Joining Kelly on the arena tour will be Barbadian four piece band Cover Drive. Cover Drive have had three top 10 singles in the UK so far including the Caribbean-infused #1 single ‘Twilight and they have recently released their debut album ‘Bajan Style’. Amassing a huge following in their native Barbados, the UK and beyond, Cover Drive’s You Tube views are over 14million and the band have previously supported Rihanna and Dappy on tour.

You can now see if American Idol season 11′s top 10 will be coming to a city near you, as the dates of the 2012 American Idols LIVE! summer tour have been announced.
The trek, which will feature Phillip Phillips, Elise Testone, DeAndre Brackensick, Hollie Cavanagh, Colton Dixon, Skylar Laine, Heejun Han, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, and Erika Van Pelt, kicks off in Detroit, MI on July 6 and wraps on September 11 in Milwaukee, WI.
The AMERICAN IDOL season finale will air on FOX May 23rd, but the fan-favorites will continue on with the 2012 live tour. Past tours have featured stars such as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Lee DeWyze, Scotty McCreery and so many more.
Iain Pirie, President, 19 Entertainment stated “Every year we are amazed at the extraordinary wealth of untapped talent that is discovered on American Idol and we couldn’t be happier with this season’s top 10 contestants. We are truly excited to bring our contestants on tour across America directly to our fans’ hometowns.”
