Navigating the main post on the homepage
I have always listed my presales geographically and not alphabetically. I tried to change it once, but suffered a terrible backlash. Most people who check out getpresales.com are here just to see what’s going on in their area.
The information below will help you navigate the main post on the home page much easier whether you know exactly what you are looking for, or if you just want to see what’s going on in your area.
At 10am (eastern timezone), I always start with presales/onsales in the New York City and metro areas. This includes Nassau on Long island and North Jersey.
After that, I go to Maine and work my way South to Virginia. Then I head west to West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. Then I come back to the southeast and cover eastern Kentucky, NC, SC, GA, and FL.
Next I cover any presales that normally have presales at later times, but today they are having it at 10am et. (eg. a show in Chicago starting at 9am ct).
Next are Canadian shows.
At 11am (central timezone), I always start with eastern timezone shows having an 11am presale/onsale instead of the normal 10am. (eg. this happens with new york presales occationally). Next I pick up any Florida panhandle shows. Next is the Chicago area,
then Indiana. Then I head west along the canadian border with presales in WI, MN, and ND. Next I head south through the midwest with SD, IA, NE, KS, MO, OK, TX. Then I shoot east to pick up AR, and TN. I then grab the gulf states, LA, MS, AL.
Finally I list Canadian shows.
At noon I first list eastern timezone shows having a noon presale time. Next is CO, AZ, UT, NM, ID. I don’t list many shows in Montna or Wyoming, but they would be next.
Finally I list Canadian shows.
At 1pm, I list any eastern or central timezone shows having late start times. Next is the Los Angeles metro area. I then head north to places like San Jose, Sacramento, Oakland, and San Fran. San Diego is next, then I hit OR, then WA. Then Canadian shows are listed.
